Potter Profile ⑥ Umehara Kiln
This is Semba, representative of Atom!
This time, I'd like to introduce "Baizan-gama" (Baizan Kiln) 🥰

The kiln opened in 1882. It's the oldest kiln among all Tobe ware kilns, celebrating its 144th anniversary this year! 🥹✨👏
The arabesque pattern, painted in a deep color on warm white porcelain, is a representative work of Tobe ware✨
Based on the concept of "Use and Beauty," each piece is crafted with care to be easy to use in daily life😳
During the gift show, we displayed some "kurawanka" (rice bowls) from Baizan-gama in Atom's space🙇♀️!
We received a lot of comments from visitors about Baizan-gama's dishes. What made me truly feel their enduring popularity was when someone exclaimed:
"Oh! It's Baizan-gama! Why is it here?? I've been using this rice bowl for many years, but I dropped and broke it and haven't been able to get a new one! Can I buy it right now?🤣"
There were even people who spoke to us with such passion🥹✨
I also use a rice bowl every day, and honestly, it's incredibly easy to use!!!👏
The size is just right, and the foot (the part you hold at the bottom) is just high enough, making it easy to hold☺
The hand-painted arabesque pattern is truly beautiful, making plain white rice taste even more delicious🌾🍚🤍🤍🤍
Indeed, things you use every day must be easy to use, easy to wash, and durable👍
With many types and painted designs, Baizan-gama offers a unique aesthetic that only they can achieve☺

They have many fans, so please look for them in restaurants and shops across the country🔥
That concludes my introduction to Baizan-gama💓💓
I'd love to visit them again when I return to Ehime😳✨
Thank you all for always reading😳💓
It was cherry blossom viewing season recently, but the cherry blossoms in Tokyo fell quickly due to the rain😭😭🌸
I took some photos, so I'll post them on the blog later🌸♡
